Start a New Student Group

Interested in getting involved with student organizations at Stanford University ? We have an active community of more than 600 student organizations on campus. We encourage you to get involved with one of the existing organizations. If you find that none of the existing organizations meet your needs, follow the step-by-step guide to starting a new student organization. Registration Deadlines

New VSOs will only be reviewed for recognition by the OSA at the beginning of each quarter. New group proposals can take considerable time for review, so those interested should submit their proposal at least a month in advance.

Quarter (2007-2008) Deadline
Fall Quarter (to be listed in the Directory) October 12, 2007
Fall Quarter (the first month) October 31, 2007
Winter Quarter (the first two weeks) January 18, 2008
Spring Quarter (the first two weeks) April 11, 2008
